2025 Scholastic Art Award Winners

Gallery In The Pines, Hudson Ma –  Proudly announces the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards National Medalists, recognizing exceptional talent nationwide. Nearly 110,000 teens submitted over 310,000 original works this year, showcasing remarkable creativity and skill.


Among the distinguished winners are:

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, celebrating its long-standing tradition since 1923, honors young artists and writers for their originality, technical skill, and the development of a unique artistic voice. These talented individuals now join the ranks of esteemed alumni, including Andy Warhol, Amanda Gorman, and Stephen King.


Winning works will be featured in online galleries at artandwriting.org, and medalists will be acknowledged in the Yearbook 2025; artandwriting.org

2024 Scholastic Art Award Winners

Gallery In the Pines is pleased to announce this year's winners from the 

Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.


More than 100,000 students entered nearly 340,000 original works of art and writing in the 2024 Scholastic Awards.  The work of art and writing selected by some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts for excellence in originality, skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.  Fewer than 2,500 works received a National Medal, which places their students in the top 8% of all submissions!


Since 1923, the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers has celebrated teen artists and writers from across the country.  Their winners are part of a legacy, joining the ranks of notable alumni, including Tshabalala Self, Stephen King, Kay WalkingStick by Charles White, Joyce Carol Oates, and Andy Warhol. 


The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the nonprofit organization has awarded Awards to the following Artists of Gallery-In-The-Pines.
